Prefab Cabinets Hattiesburg | Countdown
Good afternoon readers of the new and improved Prefab Cabinets Hattiesburg! We are back with another round of our series and unfortunately we have some sad news. Prefab Cabinets Hattiesburg has two weeks left for running. Yes, dry your eyes and wipe your noses. It was a good time while it lasted, alas life is an ever changing creature and we can’t control it. However, we do still have two weeks left to enjoy the time together. At least cooler weather has finally arrived. Yes, yours truly is in her fuzzy boots that to my surprise are not falling apart.
Countdown
Anyone who has remodeled or is currently remodeling a home knows that there is that pesky countdown that is an ever ticking presence in the backs of everyone’s minds. Yours truly is no different. Three weeks is our deadline. Will the world end if the remodeling is not done? No. But will someone possibly die? Yeah, he might very well be annihilated. All the women reading the article said amen. Considering that our kitchen is gutted, the living room is a disaster area, and the master bathroom is still not finished…three weeks sounds like a bit of a time crunch. Can it be completed within three weeks? I believe it can if he who must not be named will make himself do it.
Husbands are a piece of work (talking to the all the women in the room) when it comes to home remodeling. Sure, we believe they can get it done, but do they? Let’s be honest ladies. Men are only what we build them up to be. It means nothing if we think he’s capable of finishing the house in three weeks if we don’t encourage him. Note that there is a difference between encouragement and nagging. Nagging will NOT work.
Maintaining Confidence
Maintaining a strong confidence level during home remodeling times such as these is difficult to say the least. Does it appear hopeless? Is your husband giving up making a suitable home for you to live in because he doesn’t feel like he can do it? Are you freaking out and writing articles about how you need a home in three weeks and the one you have has giant holes everywhere that can accommodate a hundred and twenty pound, five feet seven inch tall rats? I can’t really tell you have to maintain that confidence level, but it is something that you are going to have to figure out or you will lose your mind.
Learning When To Let Go
Sometimes we encounter a situation where there is literally no way that a particular project is just not going to get done. We are past the stage of encouraging our husbands to do it. It’s too late. What do we do? We can make his life miserable because then we will become even more miserable. We just have to ignore the fact that he didn’t do what he said he would do and move on and let it go. It will get done, just not when you wanted it to. So cling to the fact that you will only have to live in misery for a little bit.
Putting Your Foot Down
To the extreme dislike of our husbands, there are moments we women have to put our foot down. The trim doesn’t have to be up on the walls yet. The walls don’t even have to be painted just yet–they do have to be ready to be painted. There are just some circumstances that are unacceptable and your husband needs to know this. Maybe if he would know he would actually get it done. Or maybe he will get it done because you threatened to stay with your parents until he finishes it.
Tip of the Week
The tip of the week is brought to you by Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring. We got yo back. Today’s tip of the week is encourage him and maybe things will start going your way. It’s been long in the study that men will not do anything you ask them to do if it sounds like nagging. Their brains automatically put a whiny wall up and they refuse to do what they need to do. The best way to counter this is to change your nagging into encouragement. It’s slow but effective. Try it and see. Let Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring know how it all works out for you.
