What a fabulous day it is to be in the neighborhood and a wonderful day to start another issue of Custom Cabinets Picayune! Tis the day all the little children and psychos have been waiting for. Yes, it is Halloween! All Hallows Eve. The day that was once celebrated for good that the pagans yet again stole and corrupted. Halloween was once celebrated as a day to remember the deaths of the martyrs who gave their lives for Christ. Somewhere down the road the Celts, my kinfolk, decided it was an even better idea to stop celebrating martyrs but to spread fear among people by telling them that Halloween was the day when the veil between Earth and Hell was the thinnest and the evil were able to walk the earth and possess a human body for the night. By dressing up in costumes people believed that it would confuse the spirits and they would be safe from becoming possessed. These days Halloween is all about the children and costumes and candy and the competition of who can become diabetic the quickest. But that is the changing of the times Custom Cabinets Picayune. Times change and technology advances which brings me to our next discussion.

Our world has advanced in medicine, science, and technology (which are all basically the same thing) and Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring are no different. We are making advances in the cabinet business that no other has ever seen. Electronic cabinets! What would your life be like if you never had to worry about tending your cabinets? Picture this:

Waking up in the morning, you feel horrendous. Body aches, chest congestion, nasal polyps, and raging diarrhea–this is what has greeted you upon waking. You can’t move except when you have to throttle yourself into the bathroom. You are struggling on the toilet and come to the horrifying realization that you do not have any toilet paper handy. It is stored away in the cabinet above your head, but you can’t bring yourself to stand up and get it. Thankfully, you have one of those electronic cabinets. You decided to get a voice activated set. Saying the simple command, “Cabinet, release a roll of toilet paper,” a roll of fresh toilet paper is dropped into you hands. You can rest at ease. Somehow you manage to walk to the kitchen and collapse into the bar stool. You want to try to eat some cereal, but the cabinets are so far away. However, Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring must say before anyone volunteers that the cabinets are still under production and may or may not have defects. Volunteers may experience flaws in the cabinets which are and are not limited to, malfunctioning doors, sparks, random bouts of rebellious behavior, fires, and aggression. Volunteers will be asked to fill out contracts that state that they understand the situation they are getting themselves into. There is a chance of volunteers experiencing burns, dismemberment, and in some situations death may occur. Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring will not be held responsible for any physical, emotional, or spiritual harm that may come to the volunteer. Participate at your own risk. Volunteers will be asked to allow our researchers into their home so our scientists can monitor and evaluate the state and condition the cabinets are in. If there are any signs of neglect among the cabinets, the volunteer will be immediately stripped of their cabinets and they will be given to another more worthy volunteer.
