Good morning readers of Custom Cabinets Picayune! Boy, did we have some frigid weather yesterday. Today, November the fourteenth does not seem to be any different. Right now Poplarville, Mississippi seems to be staying in the mid thirties today. Sweat shirts and fuzzy boots are out and about! The rusty mold smell of heaters running mingles with the fresh scent of winter ice and creates an even more sense of fall in the south. Mix cinnamon and pumpkin spice in there and we have the perfect recipe for the smell of winter. Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring are ready!

New Flooring Lines

Today we are going to be talking about some new shipments we will be getting in soon. Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring are going to soon be the adoptive parents of a new line called Coastal and Farmstead Woods. Yours truly walked into work yesterday to find three skinny glossy pamphlets on her desk. Besides all that excitement, the pamphlets were about a new flooring line we were getting in soon. You can imagine the shouts of joy ringing in the Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring show room. Cries of victory could be heard around the world. That is how amazing this new line is going to be.

What Kind Of Flooring?

What kind of flooring is Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring getting in? I am so glad you asked. The new Coastal and Farmstead Woods lines are going to be WPC and luxury vinyl tile flooring, which are hot trends these days. There is hardly a home remodeling program on all the diy channels that are not using WPC or luxury vinyl tile flooring. These are two of the most popular flooring choices that home owners around the nation are becoming down right obsessed with. Also, if I might be so bold as to say it is my favorite choice as well.

Coastal Collection

For the benefit of our readers of Custom Cabinets Picayune, we are going to discuss and go over each pamphlet. We are going to start with the Coastal lines. This pamphlet immediately catches ones attention with beautiful pastel beach colors of blues, sea foams, and sandy peaches. According to the pamphlet this particular Coastal line is rustic inspired and modern engineering which seems to be the big thing in styles and designs. The flooring reflects that of what would be found in chic beach houses on a rich exotic island. They have names such as sand dollar, coquina, and pearl cove.

Carolina Coastal Collection

The second Coastal line pamphlet is similar to the first. However, this line reflects the looks and feels of the Carolina coast. The Carolina Coastal collection advertises a quiet coast with waters of deep blues and emeralds. The beach is beige sands and hay colored weeds. The floors are very much like the Carolina coast colors. They have names such as Charleston Dunes, Gatling Grey, and Seagrove. They are floors you would find in a sophisticated beach house or an apartment deeper into the city. All floors would look good in any home.

Farmstead Woods Collection

Our third line is the Farmstead Woods collection. This pamphlet is quite different than the Coastal Collection and the Carolina Coastal Collection. The kind flooring is obvious in the name. A rustic field in a farm with a sheep or two chewing at some grass while the sun sets casting hues of gold and bronze across the sky. These floors you would see in old farm houses and are more rustic than the coastal collections. You would also find these floors in old country and Victorian homes. Besides that they have names like Valdosta, Bartlett, and Knoxville. These floors would look great in a shabby chic home, Custom Cabinets Picayune.

Collection Layers

For all three of these new flooring lines Wild’s Cabinets and Flooring have a drawing of how these planks are made. The Coastal Collection uses Coquina as an example. There is a protective wear layer with UV coating, decorative film layer, and a performance layer. Next is the rigid core and valinge cick. The two last layers are the balancing layer and the premium underlayment. This type of flooring comes if different thicknesses and sizes. The edge is Micro Bevel which some people prefer when putting down this type of flooring in their homes.

Carolina Coastal Layers

The Carolina Coastal collection flooring is made somewhat different. Like the Coastal Collection, the Carolina Coast Collection flooring is made up of several layers. However, the Carolina Coast Collection does not have as many layers as its counterpart. With a high density SPC core, the first layer is UV cured acrylic enhanced with ceramic beads. There is a transparent wear layer with deep embossing and a high resolution image film layer. The last two layers are the high density SPC core and the IXPE foam insulated backing. The example they are using is called Mother Vine which is a khaki colored flooring.

Farmstead Woods Layers

Like the Coastal Collection, the Farmstead Woods line is built similarly with almost if not exactly the same layers. The flooring used for this example is Bartlett which is a grey-beige colored flooring. The first few layers are the wear layer with UV coating, the decorative film layer, and the performance layer. Next is the rigid core and the valinge click. The last two are the balancing layer and the premium underlayment. All these layers make up the beautiful flooring anyone would love to install in every room of their home. This would look wonderful in a rustic chic home.
